Through education and awareness, we can create a safe and supportive environment for neurodivergent individuals to navigate their bodies and relationships confidently, promoting a culture of respect and safety for all. We will discuss the current demographics of BACB-certified professionals, highlighting the representation of non-binary individuals, and examine the ethical responsibilities of supervisors in supporting diverse staff.

This presentation highlights the importance of knowing and using the correct names for body parts, including genitalia, when teaching neurodivergent learners. Obtain consent from the caregivers or client Assent for underage clients.
